When is BanBan: Remade releasing?

(Screenshot shows an in-development area, entitled "Opila's Farm")

Hello everybody!

Welcome to the first "devlog" for BanBan: Remade, a fangame of Garten of Banban, which aims to recreate the original game in a more thought-out and fun way. As stated in the game page, there is no ill-intent towards the Euphoric Brothers, and I will gladly remove the game at their request.

So, with this "Devlog", I intend on answering a few questions that some of you may have regarding this project, and to provide a bit of information about the current state in regards to development.

"Why did you start this project?"

After checking out "Reincarnated", another Garten of Banban Reimagining (that was made in a week, AND with 0 game development experience by the way!) I wanted to see if someone with actual game dev experience could pull of something similar, but maybe even make it better and more polished. So, I started up Unreal Engine 4, and immediately began working on the game. I did intend on finishing it within the span of a week, but my ambition got the better of me, and now I'm working on it at my own pace.

"How many chapters are there going to be?"

BanBan: Remade will consist of 5, full-length chapters (full-length meaning 30 minutes to 2 hours long), each complete with voice acting and story. All 5 chapters will be entirely free, as I am unable to monetize BanBan: Remade since it's a fangame of Garten of Banban, and it would be incredibly disrespectful towards the Euphoric Brothers, and they'd have the right to sue me (I want to avoid legal trouble if possible.)

If you DO want to support me though, then you can buy my steam game, Polaroid, and it's soundtrack for under $10! It would be much appreciated, and I'm working on a massive update for it. Thank you to everyone who has already bought it! <3

"Will the drone's gameplay mechanic be different than in the OG game?"

Yes. I have completely reworked the drone, and the way it works is that you are able to switch between the player's perspective and the drone's perspective, and you control it through a first person view. I feel like this is a much more convenient and enjoyable way of controlling the drone, and makes it a much more easier experience.

"When will Chapter 1 be releasing?"

I don't have an exact release date, as the first chapter is still in development, but I can guarantee that it'll be released within the upcoming months. I have been working tirelessly for the past month on this project, and I think that it's going to be really good. I hope that everyone who plays it thinks it's good too!

Thank you for reading, and I hope to provide more updates soon!

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

a drawing I did because I was bored😪. But I love how it turned out.😊

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)

I made a small jungle house.

Development of my game Juno. This is the rune equipment system.
