Weirdos, Assholes and everything-in-between, but just about every community has these problems.
If you haven't been following AAT or live under a rock, i'd like to acknowledge the departure of a fangame creator who as of just a few days ago left (probably), Bithell.
Now i wasn't exactly on the best of terms with him after the 1.0 Remaster (as there was a pletora of in-dev problems and drama), however i figured moving on from my past work and ignoring anything i had done for AAT previously was the best choice.
Others however, chose not to move on:
Honko, MrSociety, HiG, Lonarn, Melody, etc...
All just people who decided to never let go, to continue obsessing over 1 boy just cause they hated him (and for whatever reason, wouldn't leave each-other alone), all so they can destroy his privacy, his online space and life.
So after all that has happened, Bithell has decided to leave and to move on (If i'm guessing correctly), from this community and game people hate, where it continuously festers some of the most vile and terrible people imaginable from the outside.
With that said, i don't think Bithell deserved it and hey... he decided to change eventually for the better, so trying is what counts to me.
That is all i had to say, so here's hoping things go well for those who remain on AAT.
