Inspired (Lanks) + Diligent (Rodriguez) is pretty much a game breaker.
(Assuming you mostly left the enemies alone)

When you think about it Hopeful in Painful would be pretty easy by about midgame or so. Especially if you can recruit Rodriguez at the beginning.

I have plans to revisit an old idea I had for SotWS nearly 5 years. And just wanted to see community opinion on something.
