why are we calling people with tourettes "silly"

silly means lacking common sense or acting "ridiculous", don't say ur supporting ppl with tourettes but then call them silly

and YES i know the word silly can be lighthearted, but hey i don't know if they mean it in a good way or not, but either way the definition of silly stays the same, whether it's lighthearted or not
