Yeah, I'm gonna be nabbing Dauntless as a name.
This project is in its infancy and is very baby, but it shall be named LISA: The Dauntless.

I promise if I end up canning it I'll release documents so you can know what was gonna happen in the story, and I'd be glad to provide input/assistance if someone else wants to pick it up in that instance. I hate the thing of getting on the hype train only to be disappointed by a cancellation just as much as the next person. But it would take a lot to get me to outright cancel this, I hope. (Partly because now I'm obligated to assemble a huge info document for you all if I do cancel it!)

Why "the Dauntless"? I feel like it fits the themes of the story. I won't get too far into it, but the goal is to have a somewhat more positive and upbeat tone while still being a LISA game and coming in hard for the emotional sucker punches when they work.

I may have only started official work a bit less than two weeks ago, but I've had this idea cooking in the back of my head for years now. There's a lot in the setting where there's uncovered writing potential I'm deeply interested in playing with. So far the plan is to have multiple different chapters where you play as different parties, and then they all meet up later in the game once you've gotten to know the individuals decently well. If that does work out as planned it may end up being a pretty long game, with a long dev cycle to match - just as a warning.

Thank you so much for everyone who's supported my sprite work thus far. I look forward to keeping on truckin'.

CHRIST B*TCH!!!!! Stop emoting so much!!!!

For reference I included the equivalent compliment of campfire sprites for Buzzo (it literally fits into a file with the $ prefix)

alright brad now you need to pick between your arm and your party member

two funny things about this talk tree: -it's missing one of the branches that was added post-planning (to handle a loop) -it's only accessible if you got to one of two talk branches on the OTHER huge tree (one of the ones that ups a specific variable)

there's an expressions spritesheet (that's actually not used for anything cus the formatting on it is incorrect) and there is this configuration of sprites on it and I want to see whatever would cause them to just Look At Each Other In Concern like this.

The absolute state of LCM rope climbing

Slowly chipping away at OFOR.

(flags: demisexual + one of a few generalized flags for queerness, transfeminine + bi) Happy Pride, Gamejolt. Let's talk about queerness in the thing I'm working on. Spoilers and crap under the cut.
