Hey guys! It's me, Anthony7612 again. If you're wondering why progress isn't being made nowadays it's because I'm prioritizing development on a secret fangame. A demo for it is coming out this SAGE 2025. I don't know when it will be announced, but I'm developing it just in case. If it doesn't get featured, I'll be releasing it anyways.

I'm still trying to do progress, but it's for minor changes. Like centering the Extras Menu's text, for example! Anyways, let's send in the Questions and Answers!

Q&A

Q: "Any outfit changes for the Cookies?"

A: Not many Cookies will get outfit changes. For everyone, the art style will be changed so their portraits will be updated to represent that. In terms of outfits, so far, only Strawberry Stick and Choco Bar will get outfit changes.

Q: "Why change "The Darkness"' name into "the TERMINATION?" "

A: Honestly? I wanted a cooler, more threatening name. I had 2 other name candidates. "CANCER", which was scrapped because it's too tone-deaf, and "ERROR_404", which is more... basic. So yeah. It also represents its more hostile nature in the Overhaul and beyond.

Q: "Any Spinoff Games for Witch's Castle, Tower of Adventures and OvenSmash?"

A: I don't see standalone games for them any time soon. I feel like Witch's Castle and Tower of Adventures' possible sidestories would be combined into one for the Kingdom-themed Sequel, and I don't have ideas for OvenSmash yet.

Witch's Castle's sole survivor (for now) is Rainbow Sherbet, and Tower of Adventures' Survivors are Chamomile, Marbleberry and Greenbell.

It's funny that there are three "-bell" Cookies who have different fates. Lilybell is dead as of the Final Chapter, Silverbell's fate is unknown (I don't want to spoil anything for Cataclysm) and Greenbell is alive and well.

Q: "Casting Process for VAs?"

A: Once I finish with the general script for the game. That's when I decide to look for people to work on the game.

Q: "Speaking of VAs, which Cookies are you excited to have full voice-acting?'

A: Pretty much everyone! I'd like to see the Voice Actors do their takes on how Ovenbreak-Exclusive Cookies sound like.

Q: "What's the biggest thing you've learned while creating OVENGLITCH so far?"

A: The multiple delays. Making a game is hard and takes a lot of time. Especially for something as ambitious as OVENGLITCH. That's why I've only revealed the year and not an actual date. Because I feel like people could get scammed if I reveal a concrete release date, then delay it because of development issues.

Q: "Will Pibby appear?"

A: Since I'm going to be tweaking the ending a bit... No, she's not gonna appear. I can see her appearing in a cutscene, but other than that, no. I'm focusing more on the other survivors.

Plus, this timeline is more like a re-take of Pibby, focusing more on the characters and their struggle for survival when the opinions made by a minority/majority of fans start physically harrassing them.

I'm making a True Epilogue Sidestory which will reveal their, and others' fates after the Main Story's ending.
