I always had two reactions after seeing a penny :-

1- Say "Oh! A penny!"
2- Instantly pick up the penny and check it's manufacturing year.

there were 3 pennies so I picked they all up FAST before anybody could see. after we got in the car I started checking the manufacturing year. THIS IS WHERE THINGS GOT CRAZY. I FOUND OUT THAT they were from 1970, 1981 AND 2021. now I'm a bit of a collector myself so I knew the 2021 was useless until another 50 years. But the 1970 and 81 WERE CRAZY! 50 AND 40 YEAR OLD RESPECTIVELY. 50 AND 40. idk how much they're worth in money but BOY DID IT HAVE ALOT OF SENTIMENTAL VALUE. Anyways to the other pennies and quarters. I found the 1977 on the sidewalk. I instantly did the reactions and put it in my pocket. But then I lost it. Next day I find it inside my dad's car! The 2001 quarter I stole from my mother. She let me have it cuz, I mean it's 25¢ bro. The 2014 penny and the 2018 quarter my dad gave me the day I lost the 1977 penny which was later found as mentioned before. And just like that all the coins have been accounted for.
