You are invited to test out our game, Megalia!


Hiya! Welcome to Megalia, where you can create maps, and play .mgm maps made by the community. This game is small and has limited features, so please provide feedback on our Discord!

This version is v0.0.1a Pre Classic. Here are the features introduced!

Additions

  • A map editor which has the following features

    • A save/load system

    • A testing system

    • Tilemap system (holds up to 2013 tiles)

  • 5 new tools!

    •  AIR

      • Used as an eraser, and is never visible on the map.

    •  GRASS

      • Used as a platform for players to land on.

    •  STONE

      • Used as a platform for players to land on, or for decoration.

    •  PLAYER SPAWN

      • Used as a location for players to spawn. This is required for all maps before you can play the map.

    •  FINISH

      • Used as a win condition for the map. This is required for all maps to complete the game.

  • A map player to play all public maps posted on Itch.io or its Discord channel.

    • Each map will show a title and the date it was created.

    • Maps will have a special version code, so if you have an outdated version, you will not be able to play current versions that are bigger than the original version.

We hope you enjoy the game and the future of this game. We are excited about what the future will bring.
