The Sleeping God
He is a god made to destroy and create life, but in exception on the earth. He comes from a branch of the god families among the stars where Azathoth lost himself as a *Blind idiot god*, separating the family apart.
In the legend of Cthulu, he is the god who came into earth for destruction. His method is awakening from his slumber and in a period of 1 day he will consume the earth”s energy core and the sun, in which he will be almost immortal and, like i said, destroy the earth. He was originally defeated from a long time battle with the mortal ”earthlings”, we humans. Countless of battles with ships till one man revealed the truth from among the gods of space. He needed to be defeated by his own, i guess to be said, POWER PILLARS.
Power pillars are creatures that hold a great power that could lead humanity into extinction by minutes. One of the most popular being Cthugha. By its name and description is associated with *The Great Old Ones*.
Cthugha is in description: He hung motionless in a black, forbidding sky and at first thought he was suspended somewhere in the intrasolar deeps much closer to the Sun than on Earth. But then he realized that the dully gleaming orb which floated before his dreaming vision was not the Sun. Ugly dark blotches mottled the dull orange surface and great columns of spinning flame arced around the rim.... [He watched] the titan sunspots drift slowly across the hideous disc, at times growing larger and merging into great gaping chasms in the fiery atmosphere, while at others dwindling almost to nothingness.... Something was stirring deep within that fiery atmosphere; something monstrous that roared an insatiable anger against the chains of the Elder Gods which had bound it there for an eternity.... Unable to resist, utterly powerless to control his movements, he was diving headlong towards that ravening chaos, that age-old intelligence which was Cthugha.
Along with the summoning of the pillars Cthulu was weakened but not killed, instead put into a deep slumber, unknown of the time when he will once awaken again. If he will ever do so, only Hastur knows the ending... The king in yellow, the half-brother of Cthulu knows its power.
