that's because i try to follow a three to four color rule where i use three to four colors on the entirety of a character, like a limited color palette, although it doesn't apply to shading

you may or may not have noticed, but whenever i draw G in a different colored shirt, that color also applies to any part of her that was the same color as the original shirt [images above for slight reference]
