Welcome to the Coyote Pond. I'm Coy and everything is a story. Written, drawn, or put in a game: why actively limit what counts? I even wrote a little something about my mascot, the koiote. Take a read:

--------

One day so long ago, the ground caved in. Nobody knew how but nobody cared. They just minded their own businesses. Storms came, the rain fell, and soon the hole filled with water. Nobody cared except those that thought it was in the way.

Then a miracle happened. Koi fish appeared from the waters. They swam circle after circle, but nobody cared. Neither for them nor how they came to be. None except for a lone coyote that came to the pond for a drink.

The koi were scared of the coyote, but the coyote paid them no mind, only quenching its thirst. Day after day, week after week. Long enough the koi and the coyote didn't notice their murky hole of water turned into a beautiful pond.

But others noticed. Though the other animals would deny it, they grew jealous of the coyote. The kind of jealousy where they sought to ruin the coyote's life instead of improve theirs. So the other animals gathered as much dirt and mold, and they aimed to bury the pond.

But that night the coyote stood guard. He fought until exhausted, and fought more. Neither beaver nor deer nor snake nor wolf could get past the coyote. They would bite and scratch and tear off his tail, but he wouldn't fall until they had long given up.

But they had bitten and scratched and torn off his tail. And when they finally left, the coyote fell into the pond. The koi lifted themselves out of the water so they could truly weep for their protector, wishing they knew him as a friend.

Then another miracle happened. Whatever made the koi appear and the hole become a pond healed the coyote, growing a fish tail where the coyote had lost his. It filled the holes in his body, and he took a breath, and told the koi hello.

And now for something completely different. For my #100Days of pixel art day 89 I asked someone for a noun and a verb. I got "kumquat" and "swimming," so here's the "Swim Race of the Small Fruit."

The new creature grows to a colossal size, dwarfing the lab it was born in! The first artificial jugger! Behold the Crocorilla! #100Days of pixel art, day 88.

The experiment worked! A new species is born! But will it grow into another Juggermander? Or into something else entirely? Come back tomorrow to find out. It's my #100Days of pixel art, day 87.

The ground shakes, the city fears the crushing steps of the Juggermander. A small genetics lab, on the other hand, is inspired. My #100Days of pixel art, day 86.

Another busy day but at least the fondue was delicious so for day 85 of my #100Days of pixel art I quickly drew some fondue. It'll probably come back to bite me but that's a risk I'm willing to take.

It's been a long day. I won't go into detail but here's a galaxy to space out with on my #100Days of pixel art day 84.

And Happy New Year to the rest of you! It's day 83 for my #100Days of pixel art. Not sure why I drew a cowboy but I'm proud of how far I pushed the lighting.

Happy New Year for some of you. Today is day 82 for my #100Days of pixel art and I drew a weasel in space. I will not elaborate.

I wanted to draw another dinosaur today for my #100Days of pixel art, day 81. I hope you like my parasaurolophus :)

It's used more than saurolophus but its head crest gives it a pretty good sillhouette. There's also noise recreations. Look it up.

Here you go with my real #100Days of pixel art, day 80. I started with some random blobs of color and it was fun turning the shapes into a river fork. Expect day 81 later today.
