Welcome to the Coyote Pond. I'm Coy and everything is a story. Written, drawn, or put in a game: why actively limit what counts? I even wrote a little something about my mascot, the koiote. Take a read:

--------

One day so long ago, the ground caved in. Nobody knew how but nobody cared. They just minded their own businesses. Storms came, the rain fell, and soon the hole filled with water. Nobody cared except those that thought it was in the way.

Then a miracle happened. Koi fish appeared from the waters. They swam circle after circle, but nobody cared. Neither for them nor how they came to be. None except for a lone coyote that came to the pond for a drink.

The koi were scared of the coyote, but the coyote paid them no mind, only quenching its thirst. Day after day, week after week. Long enough the koi and the coyote didn't notice their murky hole of water turned into a beautiful pond.

But others noticed. Though the other animals would deny it, they grew jealous of the coyote. The kind of jealousy where they sought to ruin the coyote's life instead of improve theirs. So the other animals gathered as much dirt and mold, and they aimed to bury the pond.

But that night the coyote stood guard. He fought until exhausted, and fought more. Neither beaver nor deer nor snake nor wolf could get past the coyote. They would bite and scratch and tear off his tail, but he wouldn't fall until they had long given up.

But they had bitten and scratched and torn off his tail. And when they finally left, the coyote fell into the pond. The koi lifted themselves out of the water so they could truly weep for their protector, wishing they knew him as a friend.

Then another miracle happened. Whatever made the koi appear and the hole become a pond healed the coyote, growing a fish tail where the coyote had lost his. It filled the holes in his body, and he took a breath, and told the koi hello.

I can barely believe it's day 99 of my #100Days of pixel art. It feels like I started yesterday but I've got proof. And look at how much I improved! Anywho, meet Rescue Girl! Still only a rookie superhero but she's ready to save lives how only she can.

This might have been the biggest "where do I even start" of the challenge. For my #100Days of pixel art day 98, I asked someone for 2 animals to combine and got a short-eared owl and a nudibranch. I'm not happy with it but this is the best I could do.

#100Days of pixel art day 97. Wouldn't be much of a victory lap if I didn't do a speed drawing. I gave myself 5 minutes for this panther, but there's only 3 days left! Looking back at the challenge I'm glad I started it. Which one's your favorite?

Nobody expected the Juggermander to tear down the cell towers, but who could have expected Waylan to make a return? #100Days of pixel art day 96.

Looking down from the peak is a strange new Jugger. The incredibly poisonous Croa. But is it friend or foe? Only time will tell. #100Days of pixel art, day 95.

It broke out. Rubble was thrown from here to the volcano, where the next Jugger waits. #100Days of pixel art, day 94.

Yesterday was a cop out but today for day 93 of my #100Days of pixel art, I'm bringing back my Jugger storyline with a glimpse in the bio lab. A glimpse of the science they did. "Did."

Long day so I drew a virus for my #100Days of pixel art day 92. At least tomorrow I can rest.

#100Days of pixel art day 91! Eye see you looking around. This eye specifically. I do too. But it's the final stretch and I don't know what I'm gonna draw so keep coming back and we'll find out together.

Day 90 of my #100Days of pixel art! Only 10 days left and I won't be stopped by something as small as my computer being somewhere else. I drew this wizard with a free app I found called Pixel Studio so shout out to them.
