3dprinting in 3D Art

This was our first 3D printer. @ArtsyFartsyTiffy
and I built it together. After 6 years, 2 control boards, new rods, a servo or 4, a whole lot of belt, and 25 miles of filament we have a cracked frame. Rather than repair, we have upgraded to a new Ender!

It’s crazy what a single layer of flat black can do.

it's a little early to show but here is levitating Lola. I need to reposition her inner workings, paint the new bottom, and get it bolted down still.

@thoro
here is my current set up for making a droid levitate. It’s a magnetic levitating device, aka levitron aka gravitron. It balances a large magnet in the corner of 4 electromagnetic fields. Mine is burned out but a new one should be here soon.

WIP T-51b Power Armor Helm
It has taken weeks and weeks of printing to get here. I have the pumps ready for the side and the flip down lens. I ordered corrugated rubber hoses that are a few weeks out.

New 3d print!
It took around 8-10 hours of printing and the height is 45 cm!
I printed by parts so I use minimum supports.
I'm pretty happy with the final result, lmk your opinion :D
