i've rambled about vegaful a few times, and this one is a retread of a youtube comment, but i think it is worth elaboration

the first two enemies you meet in bashful have the highest mat and mdf

i'm just scratching my head as to what was the intent here

i was watching a painful playthrough and saw this being listed in the status effect hint

was it never intended to lower defense? did austin make a mistake and now everyone associates wary with a defense decrease?

bashful had a lot of interesting scripts and abilities for the party members

so it's a little odd to me how outside of the hos fight (which is itself bugged), not many other fights play around with statuses or fun gimmicks for the opponents

Is there an Enemy/Boss battle that made them quit a game? I left Hopeful for a while because he couldn't beat Yogurt in his second battle until he figured out the strategy to beat him.
