Soldier from TF2. Don't get me wrong, Scout and Heavy would work too, but Soldier is extremely cool and adding him to Smash would pay tribute to His original voice Actor, Rick May. Make It happen, Nintendo....

I always thought Bowser, DK and Diddy Kong having more animalistic voices was a bit weird. Like, why don't they have their normal voices?

If they're gonna include another Earthbound/Mother Character, it's probably gonna be Porky or Ninten. Both of those seem pretty ebic gamer.

Doomslayer is the icon of the FPS genre and as far as I am aware, FPS isn't represented in smash yet. TF2 Heavy or Master chief would be cool, but Doomslayer is the first success in the genre.
