did some still life sketching today with a focus on hatching. Has never been my strong suit but I tried to slow down and take my time with it. added a very roughly coloured version as well.

A quick study of a gummy bear on my super glitchy surface 4. It's a crap shoot of how long I get out of it before the screen starts flickering which I guess prevents me from focusing too much on details and overworking things.

Some quick value studies on my new graphics tablet. Trying to get the hang of how sensitive it is compared to my glitchy surface pro 4, it’s almost 8x as sensitive! It’s going to be an adjustment, to say the least. 🤣
Taking a break to work on something personal. I really love everything Blake Stevenson does so I thought I'd see if I could turn one of his images into a model.
Loading...Grass and bush studies. I don't think I've been more relaxed than when I've made these. It was fun.

I did a style study today. Blake Stevenson's style is just so much fun. It reminds me of being a kid and doing art, where you just draw everything as squiggly lines. I love it.
I also love The Witcher so here have a Dandelion.
