South Florida has hired former Ohio State Offensive Coordinator Brian Hartline to be their next head coach. He will still coach in the Big 10 Championship and College Football Playoff. Ohio State plays Indiana December 6th for the conference championship.

The next CFP Poll decides which 12 teams get into the College Football Playoff to have a chance to win the National Championship.

Former Memphis head coach Ryan Silverfield has been hired by Arkansas to be their next head coach. He will not be coaching Memphis in their bowl game. More below.

Michigan State has fired head coach Johnathan Smith after leading them to a 4-8 record this year, as well as having 14 wins vacated from the 2022-2024 seasons. More below.

Former James Madison head coach Bob Chesney has been hired by UCLA to be the new head coach. UCLA has allowed him to coach James Madison in the College Football Playoffs if they qualify. They play Troy in the Sun Belt Conference Championship. More below.

Kentucky has fired former head coach Mark Stoops. They will be looking for a new head coach. More below.

Auburn has hired former South Florida head coach Alex Golesh to be their new head coach. Golesh will not be coaching South Florida in their bowl game. More below.

Former Defensive Coordinator/Linebackers Coach Pete Golding has been named the new, permanent head coach for Ole Miss after Lane Kiffin’s departure from the position. He will be coaching Ole Miss in the College Football Playoffs. More below.

Florida has hired former Tulane head coach Jon Sumrall, worth $45 million for 6 years. His request to coach in the conference championship and potentially the playoffs was accepted. Tulane plays North Texas in the AAC Championship on December 5th.

Former Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin has accepted a head coaching job at LSU, accepting a $90 million contract. The Ole Miss athletic director has denied Kiffin’s request to coach Ole Miss in the College Football Playoff. Yesterday was his last game.
