why deltarune 2017 site is just black?

I have been wondering, In Deltarune Chapter 2, when you check the save file, It says, KRIS LV 2, does LV mean the same thing in Undertale, In chapter 1 Kris's LV was 1, so uh yeah, that's been in my mind.
