They're ALMOST the exact same colour.

This must mean something, especially considering the fact that this character is called FRIEND and these two colours are for the SPARE button. (The colours are only slightly off.)

Asgore is chapter 5's secret boss. Let me explain.

So we know that asgore has a shard or crystal of some sort, many have speculated and thought it was the dark shard we get from the knight, but I think it's a shadow crystal. Every secret boss has one.
