The year was late 2019 (mid 2020?)
I discovered GameJolt on a reddit forum discussing sites similar(ish) to Steam.
I left my account for 2 years, discovering it again by the amazing @TechnoPi19

Text was too long, so I had to put it in an article.
TD:LR: Needed a way to post games on the Internet. Also wanted to follow a scratcher that made an account here.
I clicked on a link in a YouTube video and the rest is history.
