the Island Sonic 2 takes place on is spelt Westside Island, not West Side Island
reminder that not every Classic Sonic Game takes place one after another instantly
in the Japanese Manual of Sonic 2 (Which is the canon material), it states that Sonic met Tails a few days after he landed on Westside Island
