Rules + FAQ in Together Jam
Will all submissions be playable after the jam is over?
After the jam, if we are very proud of our game and would like to continue work on it, can we do so if we remove any references to the IPs? For example, if I was making a Felix platformer, will I still legally own my work if I remove all Felix content?
I have already registered and it has come out that I must create an account in jotform. What is this account for?
I CANNOT use material from the broadcast show/movie such as excerpts, stills, sound, music, logos, etc. but I CAN use "world, characters, plots, settings, etc." Correct? I foresee rule-breaking entries - prominent clarification avoiding legalese perhaps?
Are we allowed to make game assets and concept art before the jam begins? Are we also allowed to program before the jam as well? Or does it all have to be crammed within the 15 day period of the jam?
Must our game include characters/settings from the movie/show selected or just some familiar traits from those references?
I see some discrepancy between the rules here on gamejolt and in the jotform (like the ammount of properties that can be used) . Which of them should I follow?
If we're using GameMaker will we be provided an HTML publishing license like other jams?
I have a little tiny qeustion about the loot locker leaderboard. I use Godot and I haven’t been able to implement it in anyway. So I was wondering if it would be ok for me to use an alternative solution
Hi
Interested in creating "Felix the Cat" game for the jam. If I remake the intro of the old cartoon, can I use it on the game? I'm talking about this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2YJduDyFA4 (the animation not the music)
le: i have shared the progress video
Thanks
