How can I add a game?
Adding your game to Game Jolt is pretty easy. All you have to do is click on your avatar at the top right corner of the site, which will reveal a dropdown menu. Then click the big button that says add game and follow the prompts.
Where can I access the game page I've created?
Click "Your Games" from the left hamburger navigation menu
Why can't I publish my game?
You'll need to add a thumbnail image and a maturity rating before you can publish the game. If you are having problems understanding how packages and builds work, read this article.
I can't find my game?
Make sure to publish your release, package and game page.
I got a nice tool which can help my fellow game developers. Can I upload it?

Can I play games on ChromeBook/ChromeOS?
Webgames such as HTML5 games will be playable. Unfortunately downloadable games for Windows, Linux and Mac are not playable on ChromeBook/ChromeOS.

What is a token?
It's an "alternate password" games use to log your achievements or scores to Game Jolt. Tokens are used instead of passwords to make sure the game devs cannot use their games to phish your password. Find your token on your avatar's drop down menu on the top right corner of the page.
I chose the wrong country during my Marketplace account setup...
Let us know via email. We'll need to look up your account and unlink the incorrect country. Ensure you send the email from the address associated with your account to verify ownership. [email protected]
The Client stopped working...
Try uninstalling the Client and reinstalling it. If the issue persists, send us a system report through the Client from the bottom of the page.
The game works when downloaded from the site, but not when installed/launched through the Client.
Send us a system report through the Client. These reports are anonymous and allow us to identify and fix the issue. Please keep in mind some games will not launch through the Client.
How do I set my avatar?
Select Edit Profile on the drop down menu from the top right corner of the site and upload a new avatar. Or, click here and we'll transport you!
I am banned, what do I do?
Send us an email at [email protected] to review your account status.
Money sent to wrong PayPal account.
Once the money is sent to PayPal we're limited on what we can do. Email [email protected] and we'll look into it.
Can I be unmuted?
Not through the forums. Email into [email protected]
I filled out and submitted the manual marketplace request but I haven't heard back.

There is a bug in <game xxxx>. What do I do?
Let the developer know by leaving them a comment on the game page. Once notified, they'll be able to take a look. Be sure to clearly explain what the bug is.
