I'm using scratch to make my game and there's no apparent way to put a game API into the game page. Can someone help me out?

As far as i know, there's no way to include external things into scratch.

There is cloud data storage and I do believe some plugins game be made for scratch. several have before

But can you add your own plugins? As far as I know, Scratch plugins are chosen by Scratch, not the creator of the project.

I do believe that's the case, but there is a user who made some plugins once, but nowhere near as big as this

Hey there!
If you need to use the GJ API with Scratch (TurboWarp), you can use my plugin found here http://lstv.ml/link/l/?u=https://gamejolt.com/games/gjapiscratch/530359. I have forgotten to add the link before, sorry :D

The problem is that these are addons to the scratch site/editor itself, not the project. They can't change how the project behaves in any way. The only way is using mods that allow it, like TurboWarp. Then you can use custom plugins and extensions with custom code. I have made GJ API plugin for TurboWarp, you can check that out. But as for the Scratch official site itself, no, it's impossible to add custom.. anything. So you'll need to host your projects elsewhere, or right here on GameJolt. Using TurboWarp has several more benefits, like waay better speed and optimization, access to the actual scratch VM on runtime, and the ability to export as Windows, Linux, macOS and Android apps. Also hosting on different websites, no Scratch limits, custom resolutions, custom cloud variable servers, and ... there is just too much.

Yes, that was the first link, that was only a screenshot (The api wasn't released at that time) So please use this link:

Recently i have added a feature to the plugin UI that adds the option to add the extensions to TurboWarp Packager. So you should be able to see the menu in TW Packager and convert the project to HTML normally, simply select 'GJ API' in the UI.
