I posted this before in feedback, and it seemed to be in the works, but since this place is a more official way of making this feature know it's wanted, here's the topic.

Add a two-step verification feature that's optional to opt-in and encouraged if you're selling games. This really should be a no-brainer since security is a big thing nowadays and most sites have the ability to enable this for extra peace of mind.

Add various ways (or just a few) for the user to pick to enable this verification, either through:

IP checking (and e-mailing if IP doesn't match previously logged-in IP with a log-in code)

Via phone number code

Or a verification app, such as Google Authenticator (which can be used on a desktop or mobile device, as well.)

And on said page for enabling two-step, perhaps you could suggest some ways to further increase your security on your own as well. Like suggesting not to share accounts, passwords, not using the same password for everything and scheduling frequent virus scans.

I plus 1 for a Google Authentication method or similar as I live in an area without mobile service so I get constantly screwed by sms based two step auth systems.

In response to %{ user }@NathanAuckett

And I am still trying to prove I don't need a cell phone.
So I still don't have one!
