We are near the progress of launching our first demo game that is available for PC and mobile. Based on anyone's experience what is the best App store for both?

Based on my experience, for PC Steam seems to be a very good choice. For android it would be Google Play Store, and for iOS it would be the App Store.
Although that's not a reason to restrict yourself. In my opinion the more stores you support, the better, as users can decide whichever marketplace they want.
It's worth noting that I don't really consider the above marketplaces as "The best", each one has it's own pros and cons, but these have a pretty big user base.
