This is fun, for sure, and challenging! As an exploration of a single mechanic, it doesn't quite do it for me. The space of gameplay provided by blink and double jump doesn't feel very big, and I can kind of tell you thought so too because you added portals.
I haven't played through the whole game, but do you ever make the environment blink? For example, platforms that blink between two positions, or in a pattern, would be challenging and would also be well grounded in the blinking mechanic. They could even use the same sound effect. Does your game contain a material that can't be blinked through? It might be interesting if the distance of your blink was based on how long you hold the space key, rather than using a constant distance.
Those are the thoughts I had after playing your game! Thanks for making this!
great game i recorded a playthrough of the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvjYMbRXl_8
it's good still some bugs i will give it 1/10 because no wrestling.
Very cool, although I can't pass 3-1, so I'll have to leave. It sometimes feel like jump is slippery/doesn't listen to me, so that takes away the feeling of control and adds frustration. Touching bottom kills you too soon, when it could give a couple of pixels to try doomed-to-fail jump :)
Blink feels very good!
