The Mushroom Kingdom gets overridden with purple, slimy counterparts of Mario & Luigi called The Slorde. In order to defeat them, the Bros. Must gain the power of the Super Star atop Superstar Tower. Yet a forcefield hovers around the tower, and the only way to break it is to defeat the 5 guardians holding the keys to break the barrier. Can the Bros. obtain all 5 keys before The Slorde becomes all too powerful? Only time will tell.
