What do you think?

I really enjoyed this game! Esp for such a niche genera! The beautiful field recordings used as the ambient background sound are very relaxing and meditative, and the noises you "chase down" are interesting and pleasing. Took me a second to figure out you are trying to "chase" the noises, basically following them to where they get louder; but once I had that part figured out it became engaging and fun. "Catching" the noises got increasingly difficult too as the levels progressed. It was a nice pace of increasing difficulty, but also convenient that there is a feature that allows you to skip forward past levels if you want to. I also like that there is no timing restraint so you can take your time - it really enhances the calming meditative aspect of the game. Bravo!

Well I've had a go and was pretty terrible at it, will try again later! Congrats on getting your entry finished in time. :-)

Discover sonic compositions in a randomly generated space 🎶

This is a submission for #AudiogameJam3 a game jam to raise money for RNIB which is a charity that provides help and support to people across the UK.

Your goal is to collect all musical notes scattered randomly in the space.
When you clear all the notes, more appear - creating a more complex area.

Edit: Now adding to #dreamhackjungle to increase visibility! fingers crossed!

Controls:

  • Use the arrow keys to move forward and back, and to turn left and right.
On an Xbox controller, use the left stick to explore. 🎮

  • If there are too many sounds, you can deep listen using the Z key or the A button on the controller.

  • If you get lost, you can reset the level by pressing the X key or the B button on the controller.

  • To skip a level, press the C key or the X button.

  • For the main menu, press Escape or the Start button.

Some Tips:

  • Headphones strongly encouraged! 🎧

  • Try to make it to level 3 😉

  • After you're tired of trying to get all the notes, try skipping way ahead with the levels (C Key or the X button) for some fuller compositions.
