Hey guys! This is the 1st comment on the devlog for Flash Jump! I hope you guys stick with me and the devlog, because a very small alpha for the game will be released in a few days (a week at most). Well...that's all for now!
You're name is Daniel. Your a 14 year old kid, who woke up on...a FLOATING ISLAND?! You don't remember much of how you got here, other than a bunch of mysterious faces you don't know.
You look over, and you find a suit. (more like a vest.) You decide to let your curiosity get to you, and you put it on. Perfect fit...how interesting...
The suit 'turns on', and a voice from the chest of the suit says: "WAITING FOR COMMANDER'S NAME." You don't know what to do, so you just say your name. "Daniel," you mumble. The suit vibrates, and stops, saying: "Welcome: DANIEL!"
It starts explaining the suit, and that it's used for teleportation! Awesome! It teaches you how to use it, and how you use the suit to maneuver around these floating islands. Well, now you know how to get around...now you need to figure out how you even GOT HERE...
Flash Jump is a pixelated, sideview platformer game about timing, strategy, and obviously, JUMPING! Your goal in this game is to get around on these floating islands using the teleportation function on your suit, and to find out how you got here, and what in the heck is going on! Now...you know enough. You have to learn the rest on your own...
