Always wanted to code a game, but you don't know how to code?
Lua is one of the easiest languages out there, and I can teach you how to master it.
Here I'm presenting you with a book in pdf form in which I'll teach you step by step to master Lua (and I even made a few notes for the more advanced coder).
Lua is a scripting language which is very simple, yet pretty fast and powerful. Mastering Lua can be a good first step for turning pro. And I will light up a few things about LÖVE as a ready-to-go Lua interpreter, but you can from there easily switch to other engines.
Simple assignments are in the book for practice.
The book is in PDF, so any OS with a PDF viewer (that should be any modern OS) should be able to view this.
NOTICE!
The book is not completely finished, but you can already read what I have and review it and try to learn. If you see anything wrong or have some ideas for improvement speak out on my issue tracker.
