just as a heads up the file you used for mac is the same as the one used for windows meaning mac users cant start the game since it is a .rar file. i would love to play the game but can't because i use a mac
About the story:
Phantom of the Past is a story about Kyousuke (the protagonist) and his friends. Everything starts when he has to move to a dormitory. He isn't too pleased with the idea, but that quickly changes when he sees how beautiful the place is.
His life seemed perfect, but something changes when he receives a weird diary from a mysterious girl. He reads it and then a new world opens to him. He doesn't know if this will turn up to be a world full of joy or one of suffering, but he is determined to help his new friends. Will this make his life even better or he will discover something that should have been left in the dark?
This story revolves around the bond that is created between the characters. Each of them has a past that will not let them live their life in peace. They will have to fight against it or relive the painful memories all over again.
Akane is a mysterious girl who Kyousuke meets in his first day at his new school. She seems very shy or distant at first, but she just likes to be alone sometimes. That will change after a certain event.
Akito never takes his headset off and despite trying to look cool, he is mostly an airhead. He likes to play video games and read manga but his past is not something that he likes to remember.
Konomi is a very open and friendly girl. She always defends the protagonist and tries to make others feel at ease. She might look like an airhead but it seems like she just doesn't care what others think about her.
Ayumi is a typical tsundere. She is very good friends with Konomi but other than that, everything else about her it's a mystery. Almost everything to be honest. We know she doesn't like when Akito and Kyousuke(the protagonist) are too loud.
