As the title of the project suggests, this is a proof-of-concept for an idea I'd have for a fun, interactive 3D Sonic game all based on a set of controls I wrote as...another idea in 2017 - to see if that idea works or is too wacky to be well-designed. The end product should appeal to most of the fanbase and even welcome new players, but will particularly pertain to those who miss the more combat filled gameplay and omissed mechanics (among other ideas) of previous titles in the official I.P.'s series of games, especially from those introduced and executed around the era of 1998-2006. Yes, even the handhelds. It may also be used as an engine to test design philosophies for characters, levels and even wide categories the game itself (if the fan-game actually gets that far). It's a locomotive engine's patrol to different stations of the Sonic series railway, with a few jolts of "fan" ideas sprinkled in there.
