Collecting is the goal!

About

StarTrip (Temp Name) Is planned to be an open world 3D collectathon platformer heavily inspired by Spongebob Squarepants: Revenge of the Flying Dutchman, focused on collecting and characters! It's still incredibly early in it's development so the plot is on the down low, but it should be a fun ride!

6 Levels are planned, ranging from a melting hot touristy beach with terrors at night, to a suburban town in slimy trouble, or even a cherry tree filled city.

Developer Information:

Currently, the development crew is just me, though that could change at a later date. I am still in school, and will be for a long time, so development updates will be slow, but it's a project I enjoy working on when I have the ambition to do so. The sixth and seventh generation of consoles have a special look and feel I admire and I hope to transmit some of that look and feel into this game.

No better start to the day than some breakfast!

Sometimes you just have to relax with your tree buddies :D <3

Some Nighttime Post Process!
Been working on saving, but with that wrapping up I'll be working more on one of the first two levels. Although to be honest I have some better ideas for the second that I want to implement.

Created a video of swimming in action, been working on building a level and making progression possible, so hopefully some of that will be showcased next.

Among many other things, I just finished modeling the Senior Conifer, a wise yet unlucky resident of Surburb. Check him out!

Currently working on swimming. I was having trouble checking for the player holding down the up and down buttons, but it turned out to be quite simple!
