It's 1988. You've been hired by Dyno-Tec, a competitor to Fazbear Entertainment in the Family Entertainment Industry, as a security guard at Rex's Pizza & Wings, a dinosaur-themed family restaurant that's managed to carry on into the decade unchanged—same carpet, same wiring, same animatronics still clanking along on stage like nothing's wrong as they've been doing this since 1984 singing the same old songs, but in the meantime. something's gone wrong.
Your job? Keen eye. Monitor the systems. Log any activity after hours and ensure the equipment is in one piece. Procedure.
But when hours turn to night, routines settle in. The animatronics don't act like old equipment—they act like living things. Parts of the building don't match the blueprints. And occasionally the lights strobe in time with the creaks of far-off footsteps.
