Undertale: Corruption

Lore / Backstory + Key Points:
- Inspires from Dusttale: Last Genocide in the fact that W.D. Gaster creates an artificial soul, but in Undertale: Corruption, the artificial soul created by Gaster represents CORRUPTION. This soul has insane potential, and is highly unstable. This lead to Gaster locking it away. However, the experiments also lead to Gaster becoming corrupted soon after, although he does fall into the CORE, so he's stuck observing the timeline from his position in the void. Sans in this alternate timeline occassionally helps Alphys with her research in the True Lab, and one day, Papyrus woke up early, wanting to have Sans go patrolling for humans, like usual. But when Papyrus goes into Sans' room to carry him outside, Sans isn't around. Papyrus goes looking for Sans, finding out that he went to Alphys' lab to help her with her research, and Papyrus heads to Alphys' lab. Upon entering the lab and seeing that Sans and Alphys aren't inside, Papyrus investigates the true lab, getting lost while he's inside and coming across the soul of Corruption, which was made by Gaster's experimentation. Papyrus' curiosity gets the better of him, and this drives Papyrus to hold onto the soul that he had just found. But then, the soul absorbs into him. At first, everything seems to remain as normal. However, the soul had begun to conflict with his own soul, which represented kindness. The Corruption overrides his soul of kindness over time, leading to the corruption of Papyrus. As his soul of kindness is overwhelmed and tainted, Papyrus grows more and more distant from Sans, and also monsterkind as a whole, and as time goes on, Papyrus is closer and closer to losing himself to the Corruption than ever, and this is when the human falls into the underground. Monsterkind is tense due to the changes taking place with Papyrus as he alone is corrupted by the very soul he found in the True Lab. He is acting on his own, being far more selfish than he once was, starting to take things too far... The human must beat the Corruption at the source, before all is lost to the Corruption... Unless they instead embrace it, taking it all for themselves...
