Tile Game

TO PLAY:

MOVEMENT

Use the arrow keys to navigate the blue circle throughout the board filled with red, orange, and yellow tiles

SPECIAL TILES

The transition tiles are the following colors:

Red-Orange

Red-Yellow

Orange-Yellow

Red-Orange-Yellow

Transition tiles will allow the blue circle to traverse onto a different coloured tile as long as it applies to its colouring. EX Red-Yellow Tiles allow the blue circle to traverse onto Red and Yellow Tiles.

ROY TILES

These tiles allow the blue circle to traverse onto any coloured tile adjacent to it. This is where the blue circle will spawn on.

SWITCH TILES

These type of tiles will allow the blue circle to switch the transition tile's colour choice.

LAYER TILES

These can allow you to traverse to lower layers

When the blue circle moves over the black tiles, pressing SPACE bar will allow you to move down a layer,

and moving over the white tiles and pressing SPACE will move up a layer

LOCK TILES

These tiles restrict your movements until equipped with the key of the same colour

INVENTORY

An inventory is now in place with the simple press ofthe I key to open and close

To store items, press SPACE when on the item unless if the inventory is full

You can use the arrow keys to select your choices and can use them according to the item\

When full, trying to store another item will require you to replace it with another item

ITEMS

There are now a list of items to use throughout the game

KEYS

The keys in the game will look like circles for now until I figure out how to import key stuff

These can be used to unlock the lock tiles of the matching colour

MULTI-KEYS

These kind of keys can be used with multiple coloured locks at once and come in different types

For now, the keys will be discoloured until I add the key looking stuff

Red-Orange Key = Light Blue Key

Orange-Yellow Key = Green Key

Red-Yellow Key = Pink Key

Red-Orange-Yellow Key = Brown Key

JUMP POWERS

The abillity to move across tiles is now available to be used and these items have different types

TYPES

There are 5 types of jump powers with blue allowing you to move over one tiled gaps, and red allowing you to move over 5 tiled gaps

The types determine how many different coloured tiles you can move across

EX: A blue jump can allow you to move over one tile from one coloured tile to another same coloured tile, and a red jump will allow you to do it over 5 tiles

You can use a jump multiple times per use by using it on smaller gaps

EX.A red jump can be used 5 times over one tiled gaps

TELEPORTATION

Using teleporter orbs can transfer the blue circle to a random place across the board

To use it, press SPACE when selecting the item in the inventory

SPECIAL ITEMS

These are items that can help the blue circle get around the board

FLASHLIGHT

This item will allow you to reach the deepest of layers where it is pitch black

It will light up surrounding tiles to help navigation

SUPER JUMP

Obtaining this item will allow the blue circle to reach the sky layers

In the inventory, selecting any jump type, and pressing c will charge this item when collected

Them, outside the inventory, pressing J will send the blue circle into the sky layers depending on how much jump has been added to the super jump

MAP

An item that will give you the entire layout of your current layer

Press M to open and close it and press the arrow keys to navigate the map

RESPAWNER

This item will allow you to transfer back to the starting position

In the inventory, selecting a teleporter and pressing C will go to the respawner until full

Then, outside the inventory, pressing k will transfer the blue circle back to the ROY tile

TRACKER

Obtaining this item can allow you to find any special item on the entire board

Press T to turn it on or of and use the left and right arrow keys to select each location

RULES:You cannot move across a different coloured tile unless the blue circle is on a transition tile, a gray switch, or a ROY tile

The entire board stretches to a certain extent with the canvas only showing one section. Going beyond the entire board's limits is not allowed. #puzzle #adventure
