The game is ridiculously dark. While my laptop may not have the brightest display out there, the game is fulfilled with loads of areas that are almost pitch black. The opening segment, the office, the mask, the cameras, everything. Darker doesn't equal scarier.
No one has ever remade trtf 1 in the trtf:r style, I am glad I get to see a trtf fan game in this style good luck with future endeavors

Mike Schmidt is a troubled man, haunted by the mistake he had made back in 1985. This mistake had haunted him for two years, until he made a choice.
He is going to confront that mistake.
The Return to Freddys - A Troubled Past is a 2015 styled Game inspired by the original TRTF R versions of The Return to Freddy's 5. Trying to make a mix of an accurate and reimagining game, the goal is to make a sit-and-survive game with the hybrids, while having the original story of TRTF 1. A lot of heart went into this game.
