Wallace's Cheesy Curse of Cheesiness (2024)

Wallace's Cheesy Curse of Cheesiness is a FNaF fan game created by Soultron_ back in 2019.

Why did you make this monstrosity?

- The idea came to me and a friend back in 2019 during a Left 4 Dead 2 session. We were imagining what Wallace would look like as the tank enemy, which eventually led to us thinking about an Animatronic Wallace. My friend made a model of the idea and we wanted to make something stupid and silly out of it.

The original 2019 game took about a week to make, and even though it was very simplistic in concept and Clickteam giving my friend a lot of problems, we were able to create and release the silly joke game that was Wallace's Cheesy Curse of Cheesiness.

Is there an actual reason why WCCOC was removed from Game Jolt ?

- At the time, my friend didn't like the game anymore, and he didn't really see a point in keeping it up.

Why bring it back?

- During the time the original 2019 game was removed, I was saddened and felt like it was kind of a waste of effort. A few years later after the game's initial removal, me and that same friend decided that we could've done a lot more cool and funny stuff with the game. So we tried to bring it back as a completely different game that went under the name "Hunting The Curse", which unfortunately never made it either, but some of the ideas from that project did carry over to this game.

This version of Wallace's Cheesy Curse of Cheesiness is a more realized take on how much more goofy, cool, and intense we could make the game with it's old and new assets. We want this version of the game to be something that we could look back on and have fond memories on unlike the original 2019 game.

We also have been seeing a lot of reuploads of the game on this site, and while we do appreciate that you guys want to archive the 2019 game, we want it to be left to rest and have this game be the definitive Wallace's Cheesy Curse game instead of the old one. We're fine with the old game being uploaded to Internet Archive, but not here.

LORE?

- The game doesn't have an overarching lore to it and is just made to be a short and funny experience without too much of a story to look into. The game only has a simple and short plot.
