What do you think?

doesnt let me launch the game? When i press launch it shows the game is running then shows launch button again

Absolution is a story-focused post-apocalyptic bullet hell action RPG. The game takes a common theme, the idea of a journey across a magical kingdom, and modernises it into a form that is new and refreshing.

You play as the powerful magician Katsu, and along with your gang of adventurers, you will forge bonds, journey across the lands to take back the throne, and learn the truth of what really happened on the day the world was destroyed.

Can you come to terms with the truth before you reach checkmate?

I said I was done with the game engine a month ago, but recently I decided the current battle system is garbage. So I'm changing it entirely. Also, the pixel art in the game doesn't need to be too detailed, so I'm going to start doing that myself.

I'm done with the game engine! The last thing I need is tilesets. If anyone knows any really good pixel artists or pixel art tutorials, that would be greatly appreciated

Also, I finally fixed the collision system!! You can now walk along walls properly

I reworked the dialogue system, so now NPCs can say more than 4 dialogue boxes' worth of text, and for certain characters they have a small head showing who's speaking!

Also, I updated the overworld tile sprites, and they actually look good now. Credit to RedVoxel and his 16x16 Pokemon tileset on OpenGameArt.org for that

You still can't walk along walls yet, but I'm working on fixing that, and you guys should have a new playable build after a while! :D

I'm not dead I swear, I updated the collision system so it actually works properly now. Also you don't keep doing the walking animation when you walk into a wall

I made a save function that uses .ini files to set values

New build!! This is an overworld test for once, containing a small white object in a black room. Talking to the object will initiate the boss fight
