Okay, I just may be old (37, almost 38) and I remember my teen gaming years fondly.
There is already a game series named "Alone In the Dark"
which has a terrible Uwe Boll game to movie flop and all. But the original first 2-3 are actually really good and ushered in the Survival Horror we all know and love.
The first is kinda like Resident Evil 1&2 in play style.
Is this a fan game? Reboot?
Do you have a link to the original Alone in the Dark? Its story, or it lore? Did you just think this title sounded cool? It does sound cool by the way.
The fact is, the Game Rights are still being held by a very Lawsuit happy company and if they find your game with the title, I am afraid the dark will not be the only thing to fear.
