Played for about 5 mins, it's alright, bit buggy and it crashed on me. But I do love me some good twin stick shooters. Good job on the upgrade system too!

Due to lack of time I consider this more of a game-play prototype. I do have plans to continue developing this game after the Game Jam though. First thing would be to add a final boss fight at the 10 minute mark. Next add a "camp site" where the player get teleported to at game over or level complete. At the camp the champion can buy new equipment and select to enter portals to new maps. The champion character is modular and I already have tons of exchangeable armor and bows for this purpose. After that, more levels/biomes and enemies will be added and the game play made more interesting with hunting "key masters" to loot keys that you can use to open locked areas with treasure in them.
