good! :)
I think the game is ok for this contest, even if it's not perfect, and the music on the title screen is terrible ! (It is!!!)
The rest is nice and it's fun to play, even if the collision detection is a bit of...
It's not really bad and can surely be expanded into something bigger, even if I'm not always sure what is going on... :)
Fun game! ;D
I'm sorry, honestly.
When a 3D game appears in any contest, I get a little afraid. I mean, unless you have a nice team to make your models look pretty, it's a blind shot - and, sometimes, a waste of time.
Your or your team must have spent a lot of this contest's week modeling and making short cinematics an stuff, but your game lacks polishing, beauty, charisma and attractiveness.
Why I'm being so demanding?
Because there is no way to not be demanding on a game with those graphics! I mean, you must have the resources, it's no easy task. I look at the game and see that you wasted your time trying to came up with something great but in the end it just looked weird. Sorry, but those models are ugly, they don't fit. The game makes no sense, offers nothing new. The effects and monsters blend the background, I just can't feel the action or have the motivation to dodge them.
On your next games, concentrate in doing something simple, the mantra KISS (Keep it simple, stupid).
I'm sure you had the time to put a silly plot, better title screen, better interface, better ending (!) and charismatic models.
Hope you understand.
This is a nice little game. My only negative comment would be the start screen.
My GameJolt Competition 9 entry.
A reboot of a game I was making many moons ago using the HGE game engine. This time in glorious 3D!
