I love so much about this already, it looks so awesome! But there's some issues regarding optimization, I think the game is either not handling things loaded outside of view very well, or it's something FPS related (though I did use NVIDIA to set a cap on the FPS)
Wondering if you could look into adding some kind of feature that optimizes the game a little more, I really want to play it.
After playing the actual game and beating it after 4 tries (first try I got stuck in the bendyrooms, 2nd try I thought I got softlocked (I wasn't), third try in the first bendy chase because of an oversight and fourth times a charm), and I do have my praises and critiques.
What I like:
The game looks phenomenal, I have always loved the look of the Original Bendy, so seeing it mixed with the full release, as well as adding stuff from all the other chapters and more was amazing to look at, I also loved the Meatly gag, which I assume is a heavily exaggerated version of the Ootim Jimbo secret, I also love the additions, like the 3d walls and more cutouts then just Bendy and Alice, feels like the other characters get the attention they deserve. What I don't like:
Firstly, some of the item locations are dreadful, mainly just the wrench, as it can sometimes blend into a location (for example, the supply closet in the artist department), I will say that Gear location in the Break Room is cheeky because I was bitching about how one of the item locations could be in there.
Next, the Mini Gear Puzzle was awful to solve, it took me ages and I only realised because I accidentally interacted with the Boris poster, if the tip was changed or the Boris poster had the normal "interactive glow" then maybe it would've been fairer.
Lastly, the bendy chase, I accidentally went backwards rather than proceeding, so Bendy blocked off the hole I had to jump down, causing me to lose all my progress, so please add an ink wall or something so no one else makes that mistake, also the ending of the chase was so awkward, just immediate loss of tension and no fade out, just awkward silence, then the second mini chase was honestly unnecessary (even if it wasn't bad, just strange).
In Conclusion:
I love the game, the idea, how it looks and the new additions as well as references to all the other chapters and more, thank you for making it, I just hope you take into account anything you believe does need changing so the game is perfect.
my bad for yapping, I hope to see more of what you are making :)
this might be one of the greatest level designs i've ever seen in a bendy fangame. i truly love everything about this game. i made it a point to not do whatever the objective is telling me so i could find secrets. i might have gone into unity explorer just to look at the rooms i didn't get to go into lmao. can't wait for chapter two (if you're making it)
truly peak content ✌️
(also while in unity explorer i found the extremely long message to hyper lol. he's not the only one who looks through the files of bendy fangames. and yes, i did read all the way to the bottom)
i dont have a great device so for me its super laggy even at low graphics is there a way you could fix this?
It was good, it was fun, buut that last section was kinda rough, the Boris poster puzzle could have used a more creative solution, you think you have to find the missing gear in one of the gear boxes around the studio but like you have to put the boris poster in its place then click it again to reveal a gear box?? and some of the parts were really dark, making the flashlight togglable could've worked wonders. also there needs to be a checkpoint system, because no one wants to play a whole 30 mins game again just because, other thank that its still a pretty good remaster!
Bendy and the Ink Machine: Remastered
Studio of Leaves
In the 1930's, Joey Drew Studios was a juggernaut of animation, competing with the likes of Fleischer and Disney. The studio put out success after success and it seemed Joey Drew's name was destined to be remembered as one of the all-time greats. And then it wasn't.
Almost overnight, one of the biggest animation studios of the 20th century closed without so much as a word. Joey Drew would never again make a public appearance, and the Bendy cartoons that were once so beloved were quickly forgotten as the masses moved on.
There were, however, people who didn't. People who stopped and asked "Just what exactly went wrong here?". You are one of those people.
Your name is Henry and once, decades ago, you worked as an animator for Joey Drew Studios. And you've never quite been able to stop thinking about what happened to it, what happened to the man you once called a friend.
One day you receive a letter in the mail from that man. Asking you to return to the long-abandoned building that was once something truly great. And so you throw on a coat and head back to a place you never thought you'd see again.
Welcome home.
