depths of destrus is cool!
The graphics and the music are spot on! The gameplay is nice. Everything is smooth.
I couldn't get too far because I could never kill the slimes no matter how much I hit them. I also couldn't open the door which requires the key, even after I found the key. I couldn't get past the crates either.
If this were a complete paid game on Steam I would definitely consider buying it.
Game seems to have potential. There are things that need work though. The movement is seems really choppy as well as the attack animations. The sensitivity is really high. I really think that with a little polish this could be an amazing game.
Pro:
I like the game overall!
And the Void-Thing-Class!
And the fox!
Cons:
- Growing up is too easy: you must give fewer experience points and skill points
- The ability are too anonymous (nearly number bonus only) and passive, better create some active-spells to use with a secondary attack
- More monster varieaty (too much slimes)
- More texture varieaty (or at least decals)
- The level design is too flat, better to create less corridors and more different areas / rooms each with something unique (fountain, blood, banners ...). Ultima Underworld level design are
- My gosh! My pc-fans are at the max: 24% CPU (i7 3.4Ghz) and 800M of RAM. Do you have a bitcoin miner inside your Unity game? ;-)
Something I would like:
- Save and load the hand-weapon status (I have to unsheathe it and without knowing how to for a moment I was perplexed)
- Fog of war for map (so I can have the idea which parts of the level I have to explorer)
- Gamma/brightness adjustment inside the options. (the dark rooms tired my eyes a lot, even the Spirit Blade, being very white, generated contrast by further fatiguing)
- That the Spirit Blade sword gives a little light around, so that it can also be used as a torch
I'm am a big fans of Delver-like games.
This game can aim to become something similar to Barony but not procedurally generated, easier and with a story.
I cheer for you!
[I played only the first level for now]

Game Tester Testimonials
MaZTaT - Destrus is the type of game you sit back and enjoy. It implores you to relax and digest its intricate hallways and discover every secret its depths hold.
Quibi - Well the game is okay, at this moment it’s not something I would choose to play over other titles (at least not yet), but it’s a decent working game nonetheless.
It still needs work, needs more ideas, but it’s a work in progress.
