Interesting concept. However it seems to lack the failure state - when my character dies I can still keep clicking on the "action screen" (I guess that's the best way to describe the bottom window) and the variables will still keep getting updated.
Also for the combat, it'd be great to have some way of telling whether or not am I causing any damage to the monster (Text scrolls a bit too quick for me to notice) and how much health has the monster left, because the fight with the first monster felt a bit endless to the point when I starved to death...
Keep up the good work :)
I plan to reduce the match board size, making the screen more prominent, also making room for movement controls which will make the game more touch friendly.
All feedback greatly received.
Entry #15..
Dungeon Tactics - A prototype I will definitely be taking further!
Whilst it isn't by any means finished, it does demonstrate my spin on the classic dungeon crawler! Featuring artwork purchased from the Scirra asset store.
Enjoy.

Arrow keys to move!
Match tiles on the game board, to attack, replenish health and energy to move.
