This sure gave me a scare
The second the run music started I screamed and stopped only when the music did :D :D :D XD
Agree with Markiplier. No real threat. Also the memories themselves seem... A bit throw together. Red blobs? My assumption is that these are placeholders for something better that would be implemented in the future. My hope is that in a future version of this game, one might discover said memories like entries in a journal that lead to more gameplay and story. Say, you come across the memory and it takes you to some memory or flashback that teaches the player a little about what is actually going on. Granted, a lot of things can be implied but there needs to be something to truly fear. Maybe slowly build up to explaining why this school is so messed up and who this monster is. Whether this monster is eventually explained as a true living being or some kind of entity or a metaphor for this horrific experience at this school, there needs to be something to build the image of the monster into something scary.
Also, since this is a school setting, you could do a lot with scary kids. Both visually and auditorily. Monsters are scary but an evil kid... that would send shivers up ones spine. You can use that innocence of a child that has been corrupted dynamic. Add that in with visual and auditory cues and it would definitely shake things up. I actually expected a few things based on the setting and was sad they never happened. That eerie sound of kids singing in the background. Or even turning around at a dead end to see an evil kid standing there. Maybe not even looking at you, looking at the floor then he looks up :o That sounds freaky to me. Anyway, rambling. Just throwing ideas at ya.
Besides the lack of a few things, and some polish, the game looks pretty good and sounds good. The atmosphere is definitely unsettling. It definitely has potential. I look forward to what this becomes in the future.
I am gonna be the first to say
this game is terrible
cheap jumpscares with a monster with funny animations
WOAH INTENSE MUSIC BE SCARED
If you wanna make a good horror game do something more original and less cheap
I think you should follow what Markiplier said like make the monster smarter and stronger so it feels mre as a threat and you should also make more memories or more to the game. but o erall i loved the game and i liked that in the special thanks to the guy who invented waffles.
awful. just awful.
