Very well made. I included it in part 2 of my Familiar Game Jam 4 compilation video series, if you would like to take a look :) http://youtu.be/kQyM5ksnYP4
W-O-W. Amazing work you did here, C++ with SDL2, you're a crazy gamedev, well done xD
its old shool programmer!!
Hey Fran & Zalo.
Fran: Currently there's no Microsoft Windows executable available. I am working hard on providing one (in fact, I could provide you with one right now, but without sound effects due to some nasty bug) but it can take a bit. Drop me a line if you wanna test it ;).
Zalo: Thanks, thanks a lot. Actually, well, my own technology is wrappers around the SDL video, audio and input hooks but nevertheless makes for funny looking spanish code :D. Still, I wish I could do only half of what I saw you guys did on the jam: I am very, very humbled.
Played it on the Jam. Done with your own technology and I really appreciate it. Good job :)
A small action game made for the 4th Familiar Game Jam #familiargamejam4 in less than 48 hours. Race through 10 levels shooting nasties and collecting bonuses in an overhead perspective. Three different weapons, three different enemy typesand tight difficulty (remember, you can't jump while reloading!!).
As requested by the Jam Rules, the game is based off a 90s movie (The Mummy... General ambiance and abundance of shooting things), has two endings (depending on your performance) and tells you everything you need to know in the title screen.
The game has been made in C++ with the SDL2 library and some custom libraries to add a minimal framework.
Additional credits for sounds and tiles in the title screen.
Enjoy the ugly programmer artwork and the full screen pictures I took on my vacation ;).
EDIT: Uploaded new source... Seems like there were some SDL 1.2 dependencies still in place. Will try and upload a new build too.
