This is a FNaF Fan Game, FNaF is owned by Scott Cawthon.
There's nothing left to do for the dead. For the living, however, the nightmare lives on.
In this complete overhaul of FNAF 2 you must survive your shift as a nightguard to continue your investigation in the light of dawn, searching for what was lost.
A re-design that is faithful to the original while providing fresh mechanics and story to fans of the series. Each animatronic fulfills a unique roll and threat while the story actively asks you to solve the mystery, gathering clues as each day while the world moves on around you.
This game has been in development since early 2023, with a crew of one (see below). The current core of work is being done to create a public demo build including the first 2 nights and days, in addition to the creation of unique character models and animations.
While the game has already finished it's Alpha phase with a fully playable and completed custom night, I still have a lot of environmental work to do as well as models, animations, playtesting, and even voice acting.
If anyone would want to join the project I'd be glad to take the help! Just DM me if you're interested.
(Note: This project was fully scoped out to be done by 1 person. Any additional help will simply speed up progression or provide a better final experience as the skills of most artists greatly outclass my own. Not to mention, anyone onboard has a great deal of creative freedom to add their ideas.)
Developer's Note: This game was inspired by re-watching Markiplier play FNAF2, and thinking about a lot of things that could be improved with a longer development cycle. This is not to say it replaces FNAF2, nor that the original is not a good game. We all love it, that's why we're here.
The primary focus has been on making the animatronics unique mechanically while resolving many of the confusing/frustrating mechanics from the original. On top of this I have the goal of creating an active plot, moving day-to-day such as when Golden Freddy shows up after someone "Uses the suit" and yields a direct change to the gameplay mechanics.
