Along the Hwy

Story:

Jake is living roughly week to week, struggling every day. His routine is wake up, check his dope stash, he is usually out. Goes to the street to hit up his dealer, scores a teener of "H". Back home and into the dark-side he goes, ringing the bell, chasing the tale of that oh so familiar dragon. Then daylight comes, and the cycle continues. It's a curse, it's a chamber, he is tied to this monkey on his back. With out his precious "H" Jake cannot function. He will go into a slumber of depression, pain, and anxiety.

Today will be different, he wakes up, checks his stash, empty as usual. Jake is binge user, lives like there is no tomorrow, oh but there is a tomorrow and Jake will be praying for it. Cold chills cover him as his muscles begin to cramp. He hits the streets, Dale is on the corner as usual. No product today, only pharms, and Jake started on pharms. Not what he wanted, but will make the chills and aches from the chemical dependence subside at least. He follows Dale into the apartment complex. They walk into a rough looking man's apartment. Terry is old, dirty, white trash and crazy.

Terry ask Jake to take on an adventure, a risk, a SCORE. If so he will let him have the last sack of "H". Jake needs this score, he needs this money, HE NEEDS THIS H. If not it's back on the streets, can't be late on the rent again. Jake looks to Terry and nods, Terry says "Dale... I'm gonna need you to leave". The door shuts behind Dale and he can hear the mummers behind the door between Jake and Terry.

Plans are being made, lives are being re-coursed, all in the back alley apartment of an old forgotten town. Behind these four walls begins a Pain and that pain will become the firing Fury in Jake's fight to win back his normality.
